TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
